has taught circus skills to many Amateur Dramatic or Operatic societies
preparing to present the musical show. The latest was Walmsley
Church AODS, Bolton in Autumn 2008, others include Long Eaton OS,
Notts, 2008 and Stockport
Operatic Society in 2006. There have been many others over the
years.

In
the
1991 Jim taught Paul Nicholas to walk the tightrope, in preparation for
the lead role of Barnum. Skill
acquisition is best achieved over a couple of sessions, ideally with
some
time to practice in between. Some
Equipment can be hired for the performance e.g. Tightrope and
stilts as seen in Walmsley Church AODS performance. Small equipment can
also be purchased at a reasonable rate e.g. Juggling balls, spinning
plates, diabolos. Plans can be
supplied for the construction of wooden tightrope and stilts. Ring me for
